Every project's got its own personality, really. Some were smooth sailing, others kept us up thinking through details. Here's what we've been pouring our energy into - the spaces that started as napkin sketches and turned into something real.
This one was a challenge we loved tackling. The clients wanted ultra-modern but couldn't shake their love for natural materials - which, honestly? That tension created something pretty special. We ended up with this interplay between concrete, steel, and these massive cedar panels that warm everything up.

We didn't want another glass box, y'know? The developer was open to experimenting, so we played with these staggered floor plates that actually create outdoor terraces at different levels. People working there can step outside without going to ground level - seems small, but it changes how you experience a workday.

A weekend retreat that doesn't scream "look at me" - we tucked it into the landscape, used local stone, and made sure every room has a sightline to the water. Honestly, it's where I'd want to spend my Fridays.
The owner wanted "cozy but not cramped" in 1,200 square feet. We played with ceiling heights, added these custom bronze mirrors, and suddenly the space breathes. Plus the kitchen's actually functional, which chefs seem to appreciate.
Six units that don't look cookie-cutter. Each one's got its own character while keeping the overall vibe cohesive. The brick detailing alone took weeks to figure out, but that's what makes them interesting.
Old warehouse, exposed everything, but it needed to feel like home not just look industrial-chic. We kept the rough edges - the brick, the beams - but softened things with walnut millwork and better lighting. Now it's got that raw character without feeling like you're camping in a factory.
Projects we've wrapped up in the past year or so
Multi-generational living done right - separate spaces that still feel connected. Took some creative planning, but everyone's got their own zone plus shared areas that actually get used.
Learn MoreTech startup wanted something that didn't feel corporate. We gave them flexible zones, lots of natural light, and spaces where people actually want to collaborate instead of hiding at their desks.

No two projects follow the exact same path, but here's generally how things unfold when we team up.
We sit down, talk about what you're actually trying to achieve. Not just the Pinterest board stuff, but how you live or work.
Sketches, models, renders - whatever helps you see where we're heading. This is where we figure out if we're on the same page.
Details, materials, finishes. We're working through everything from structural stuff to which door handle feels right.
Construction, coordination, problem-solving. We're on site regularly making sure what gets built matches what we designed.
Whether it's a full build or just bouncing around some ideas, let's talk. We're always up for interesting challenges.
